Opportunistic In a well-designed asset allocation model, opportunistic strategies can enhance diversification and potential return. In addition to our core equity and fixed income strategies, we also offer access to additional asset classes that can enhance diversification and potential return of a client’s portfolio. We work closely with our clients to design an asset allocation strategy that seeks to achieve their financial and non-financial objectives. At times we feel it is appropriate to add investment strategies that are beyond our proprietary core capabilities. These strategies tend to embody greater risks, and so we provide guidance and expertise as to the managers we recommend. We pursue opportunistic managers with high quality standards, consistent management styles and reputable leadership. We provide ongoing due diligence and oversight of their strategies to ensure their styles accommodate our client’s objectives and complement their targeted asset allocation model.
